Medics Laboratories owe its existence and success to its founder Tawassaul Hussain (1925 - 1994) who established the company in 1986. Before forming Medics, Mr. Tawassul Hussain was production director at Boots Pakistan where he played a key role in development of Brufen Tablets (Ibuprofen) in Pakistan. The process he devised for the manufacturing of Brufen Tablets was later on adopted by all the subsidiaries of Boots across the world. In 1978 he became the founder and chief executive of M/s Macter Pharmaceuticals, presently it is marketing over 70 pharmaceutical drugs including basic manufacturing of Aluminum Hydroxide Gel - again first company ever in Pakistan to do this after Wyeth Laboratories. He spent 32 years in the pharma industry at various senior management levels after completing his B. Pharm from Punjab University in 1959.

Inspired by the therapeutic potential of herbs for the treatment of various minor to chronic ailments and realizing the growing scientific evidence, Mr. Tawassul Hussain channeled all his energies in the pursuit of developing naturally advanced premium quality phytopharmaceutical products for improving peoples lives and alleviate suffering.

The products of Medics are a fusion of his experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, product development and quality assurance coupled with centuries old tried and tested knowledge of Tibb e Unani (Greco - Arab) and Ayurveda (Science of life). Not surprisingly our products are popular among masses as well as the health care professionals.

Today the company is managed by Mrs. Tawassul Husain as Chairperson, Mr. Muhammed A. Qayyum as Managing Director, Mr. Azeem Husain as Deputy Managing Director along with a team of professional managers.
