part of its expansion program, Medics Laboratories has joined
hands with HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry (International
Center for Chemical Sciences) for the production of standardized
herbal extracts. HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry is Pakistan's
premier research facility conducting work on isolation, structural,
synthetic and pharmacological studies on bioactive natural
products as well as various aspects of protein chemistry.
The
institute is equipped with state of the art superconducting
NMR spectrometers,one of the most sophisticated NMR facilities
in the world. Analytical facilities include six high resolution
mass spectrometers, more than 18 different systems of high
pressure chromatographs, gas chromatographs, LC-MS, GC-MS,
X-ray diffractometer and FT infrared spectrophotometer to
name a few and other value added products.
